1.1.. Quest Accountants Pty Ltd respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers and website visitors. If there is a change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, we reserve the right to transfer to the extent permissible at law our user databases, together with any personal information and non-personal information contained in those databases. This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under and agreement to maintain confidentiality. We would seek to only disclose information in good faith and where required by any of the above circumstances.

Where we disclose your personal information to third parties, we will request that the third party follow this Policy regarding handling your personal information.

6.1. Quest Accountants Pty Ltd is committed to ensuring that the information you provide to us is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modifications and disclosure.

7.1. If you have any complaints about our privacy practices, please feel free to send in details of your complaints to PO Box 165 St Leonards, NSW 1590. We take complaints very seriously and will respond shortly after receiving written notice of your complaint.

8.1. Please be aware that we may change this Privacy Policy in the future. We may modify this policy at any time, in our sole discretion and all modifications will be effective immediately upon posting of the modifications on our website. 9.0 Information we are required to disclose to you

9.1. As a Tax Agent, our work for you is performed in accordance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009. Under this Act, the Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct) Determination 2024 requires that we make the following disclosures to you:

9.2. The Tax Practitioner's Board maintains a register of Tax Agents and BAS Agents. you can access and search this register here: https://www.tpb.gov.au/public-register

9.3. If you have a complaint about our Tax Agent services, you will need to contact your Accountant in the first instance with details by email. If they are unable to resolve your complaint within 3 business days, please contact Adam Brown - Managing Director, by email. Your complaint will be investigated by Adam Brown or a staff member who is not involved in the subject matter of the dispute where possible. We will provide you with email acknowledgement of receipt of your complaint and our understanding of the circumstances. The email will inform you that we will attempt to resolve your complaint within 14 days and will outline the dispute resolution process. If you are unhappy with the outcome we propose to you, you can then make a complaint to the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) using the link listed above. The TPB will send you an email to acknowledge receipt of your complaint and review and risk assess your complaint. If you are unhappy with how the TPB has dealt with your complaint, the above link includes details about your review rights and who can further assist you.

10.1. When  you come to our website (www.questca.com.au) we may collect certain information such as browser type, operating system, website visited immediately before coming to our site, etc. This information is used in an aggregated manner to analyse how people use our site, such that we can continue to improve our service.
